I was delightfuly surprised to find out we won the readers choice award. It is quite an honor considering all the wonderful eye care providers in the county. I have to thank all of my patients. I think of going to work as either making new friends or reacquanting with old friends. I try to make decisions as if each patient is a family member. Perhaps some of that feeling has translated to some of you. After 22 years, I hope so. My staff deserves a lot of credit, (for carrying me for so many years), as does my consultant who helped me restructure my office. I thank my beautiful wife for giving me a new lease on life, and my children for making me understand the reasons I must work. Thanks to the boys in the band, the guys at the gym, and all my tennis mates. Thanks to the doctors who extended my life, and to my pastor who helped me understand why. Hopefully we can be around a long time, improving and growing with Asheboro. Thanks for noticing.
